Registration for BC Crop for Kids
This looks like a great time and of course a great cause. It falls on a busy weekend for me so I won’t be going. I must say though I heard that last year was fabulous.
So today is another gorgeous day. And here is the view I found:

This day has been just great. We booked the deck contractor and the job should get started in the next week or so. We enjoyed the sunshine and now the kids have play dates and well, mom is enjoying the sounds of a happy home. Family first….that is how I feel. It is really nice to have a day to devote to that which is truly important to me.
As for scrappin I did manage to get some time in with Niki on the weekend and I started Derek’s Disneyland album. It will be a 8 X 8 and will be all of his favourites. He can keep it in his room to look at and remind him of the very best time we had. Jessica is actually doing her own album as Auntie Judy got her a Tinkerbell album for Christmas.
Here is my first page in Dereks book:
The paper is Disney 8 x 8 that I picked up at a garage sale at Camp Hope last year. I used the Disney stamp and some embellishments from Disney. It reminds me of the trip and boy does mom want to go again.
More to come….

Our girl….wow!! She has sure grown and she has a great style to her routines. We love you princess!!
She is a friend, fellow scrapbooker and now a photographer. Check the site out and the beautiful moments she captures in her photos…

Reality Check-Everythings Amazing Nobodys Happy
We see so many people around us miserable. Some may have good reason but how many times have you heard someone in a store compain about something so trivia. People always comment on how happy I am. Well to be honest I believe it is a choice. I have a home in a good neighbourhood, I have a great job that helped me buy that home, I have family all over town, I share my life with a husband who just wants me out of life and together we are rising two great kids. To take that further…we never want for anything, we need money we got it, we can go to stores all over town and get graoceries to make us happy, we each have a phone, we both have newer vehicles, and not just one fridge but 2….I could go on forever. In a nut shell I will forever respect this life I have been chosen to have and be thankful. I will do my part to make life better for others!
In the changing world and in the current economy it is a good eye opener for so many people that think they deserve it all….respect what we have-it can be taken all away in a second.
Here we are at last at my 5th day of work today. Andie is getting through the training. He is tired but so far so good. I am glad to have the next 2 days off. I have to make some final calls tomorrow for the Tyson Gala Dinner Fundraiser and try to keep getting some items for the Live and Silent Auctions. Saturday is Jessica’s gymnastics performances. We really look forward to this as we get to see how far she has come. This year she will also be performing at the PNE. There are a couple of Scrappin Crops on this weekend and sadly it is too busy for me to make it out to one of the fundraisers or get some of my pages done. I have been laying out a few pictures with paper so if I do get some time I can power layout a few pages. It would be nice~
Next week is the BCCH Jean’s Day. Do not forget to get your pins.BCCH Jean’s Day
and why not get your work place involved for the kids. Lots of fun!!!
I do not have mush to write today….I had an great day off yesterday. I hung with my daughter and saw a couple of friends. Then Jessica and I had a fun time shopping for clothes. It was so nice. In the afternoon I took Derek to Liam’s birthday party and I got to enjoy a couple ours with Jude(and Dean and the kids-LOL). It really was terrific. We all left Andie to nurse his cold before venturing into his 3:45pm shifts this week. I enjoyed the sunshine and the wonderful conversations. Life is good….
The calls and emails are coming in…so here it is-Day 2 Andie back to work and feeling well and me working away and learning lots!! It has been a great week and now today to see the sunshine how can you not feel great. I have been training and hiring at work and it has been fun. I love meeting new people. I have cleaned and cooked and listened to the kids laughing with friends. I missed this time with them. I just have to treasure the moments I get. Take my snuggles at night-savour them. Thanks so much to everyone for your love and support and prayers. We could not have made it through the last few months without it. Thanks to God for always looking after us. Life really is good….
As for my scrapbooking I have not done much lately. I do see a lot of crops coming up for National Scrapbooking day so watch out gals I just might squeeze some time in!! Hope to see some of you gals out too!
Tomorrow is the start of life back to normal for us, at least we are all hoping. Andie heads back to work tomorrow. Still a lot of unknown for us as he will be juggled around for a few weeks as his position is now gone since he has been on sick leave. It would be nice to know what has caused all this for him but there are no clear answers. So much change ahead for us too. We are still trying to find a contractor for the deck we need to replace and I am hoping that some good things will come my way related to my job too. All and all life is always a great adventure and you must find pleasures in each new day you are given. It really has been nice having my hubby around so much even though it did get tense sometimes when he was frustrated with the pain. We all love him and we will miss him as he works late this week….even Bailey the dog will miss him – that I know.
We love you so much hunney-good luck!!
I am working and loving it this weekend. I am in the cash office and it feels great. As I drove home I said a little Thank-you prayer and just enjoyed the sun shining through the clouds. I hope everyone remembers the good Lord this weekend and that the Easter Bunny spreads a little chocolate your way!!
Hop Hop~
