Happy and in love~a true blessing!

And my kiddies….wow have they grown.
Family….is my life! Thanks for stopping in~
I haven’t blogged much lately or posted any cool scrapping stuff. I just have bee so busy settling into routine of kids back to school and me working full time. I think it is going well and I am home for dinners and homework. I love this. I am really excited to have my niece and nephews here for the next few days while their parents celebrate their anniversary in Vegas.http://www.vegas.com/
I have the next three days off which will be busy with the kids and having fun but also going to start scrapping for the season. My first projects this week will be to do some scrapbooks for our award recipients at work. I am planning to do 4 8x 8 albums over the next few days. After next weeks awards banquet when all my extra little projects are done I plan to start scrapping when ever I can. I have a few little projects and cards I want to make. I love fall…the colors of the leaves and the sounds of the wind and the rain all give me so much inspiration. I love the sleep pants and t shirts and movie nights in front of a crackling fireplace. Sounds good doesn’t it?
Well I did find some new websites with product I liked….http://www.pinkhedgehogpapercrafts.com/Shimmerz.php
I love the dew drops and the shimmerz products. Check them out.

Well thats all for now…enjoy the rest of your week~
September 24th, 1994 Andrew William Finnigan took Amanda Lee Storey to be his wife. And so their story began…
It was a beautiful sunny day, much like today, and everything went perfectly. We were married outside the Cultus Lake Hallhttp://www.cultuslake.bc.ca/facility_rentals/
My mom had it all decorated with gorgeous flower pots. We had family and friends attend. Pasters Jim and Sharon Gaetz performed the ceremony. It was so comfortable and you could feel the Holy Spirit present. It was everything we could have ever wanted…shared with family and friends in our favorite place. The photographs were taken across the road at the lake(my fav place). Andie scanned some of the photos in for me to share with you.:)

I started scrapping my wedding album and it just was not right. Niki, my bff, bought me a window Creative Memories album and it has sand color pages. I am now really excited to finish this album. I will slowly work on it as I get caught up on the family album this year. I also plan to do a little album with pictures from today(the ones that Duane took at the lake) and I want to include some questions and answers for the kids to one day treasure. I want to have information on Andie and I as a couple. I think it will be very nice for them to have.
I feel very blessed to have been married for 15 years and not only to the man I love but to my soul mate. Andie knows me sometimes better then myself…lol…and he is always there for me. I am so thankful that even though we met so young and have grown together our love grows stronger and I can still see us growing old together.
‘Love is a friendship caught on fire”
When I get the photos from my brother I will post the pictures from today:)
hmmm. Big decisions. I am to decide if I should protect my daughter from a deadly virus. If I should send her to school one day and vaccinate her from a vaccine that has not been tested for long term effects yet. Interestingly enough I should make an informed choice. But I was not really informed. Did you know that this vaccine is being promoted to save girls from cervical cancer? Did you know that it is really to protect against that virus from a STDs which there are 18 forms of and this vaccine only protects against 4. This was not what I thought it protected her from. Side effects-many. Deaths-32 reported. Are you informed???http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=msoyRYSoSJk

I am not feeling very good about this decision. I am praying for the may others facing the same choice.
“Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass. It is about learning to dance in the rain.”
Niki had this quote posted yesterday on her twitter page and it is very fitting for the way I live. I also have a passion for rain! I wanted to share this with all you fellow scrappers out there and my friends!
Enjoy your weekend….:)
It was an awesome week with some very happy kids. Derek and Jessica were so happy to be back to school and to get new teachers. Derek is thrilled with his and so are we. Jessica has a new teacher and we are excited to get to know her. The weather turned around from the rain to gorgeous sunshine and off to the beach we went yesterday. Laid in the sunshine, BBQ up there and kids got to fish and tube. Then off to the Chilliwack Bruins Exhibition game. Derek got 4 tickets from school and counted the hours to go. It really was very sweet. Him and his dad cheering in the first period and slouching by the third period because they gave up on our team winning. LOL. Jessica just taking everything all in with her natural excitement. Today was another beautiful day and we did some chores and got the house some what in order. We had a wonderful family dinner at my moms. The kids were so happy to see them. We headed home to take naps and relax before dad had to head off to work.
I would say it was a perfect weekend.:)
The Difference
I got up early one morning
and rushed right into the day;
I had so much to accomplish that
I didn’t have time to pray.
Problems just tumbled about me,
and heavier came each task.
“Why doesn’t God help me?” I wondered.
He answered, “You didn’t ask.”
I wanted to see joy and beauty,
but the day toiled on, gray and bleak;
I wondered why God didn’t show me,
He said, “But you didn’t seek.”
I tried to come into God’s presence;
I used all my keys at the lock.
God gently and lovingly chided,
“My child, you didn’t knock.”
I woke up early this morning,
and paused before entering the day;
I had so much to accomplish that
I had to take time to pray. ![]()

Everyone who knows me knows that I like to be busy. I like to help where I can and I like to shine for Jesus. This is me. On my journey to find balance between those needs and my new growing family this prayer/poem got me through many moments of toil.
Enjoy my friends!!
IT’S WONDROUS WHAT A HUG CAN DO.
A HUG CAN CHEER YOU WHEN YOU’RE BLUE.
A HUG CAN SAY, “I LOVE YOU”
OR, “I HATE TO SEE YOU GO.”
A HUG IS “WELCOME BACK AGAIN,”
AND “GREAT TO SEE YOU, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?”
A HUG CAN SOOTHE A SMALL CHILD PAIN,
AND BRING A RAINBOW AFTER RAIN
A HUG, THERE’S JUST NO DOUBT ABOUT IT..
WE SCARCELY COULD SURVIVE WITHOUT IT!
A HUG DELIGHTS AND WARMS AND CHARMS,
IT MUST BY WHY GOD GAVE US ARMS.
HUGS ARE GREAT FOR FATHERS AND MOTHERS,
SWEET FOR SISTERS, SWELL FROM BROTHERS;
AND CHANCES ARE YOUR FAVORITE AUNTS
LOVE THEM MORE THAN POTTED PLANTS.
KITTENS CRAVE THEM, PUPPIES LOVE THEM;
HEAD OF STATES ARE NOT ABOVE THEM.
A HUG CAN BREAK THE LANGAUGE BARRIER,
AND MAKE TRAVEL SO MUCH MERRIER.
NO NEED TO FRET ABOUT YOUR STORE OF ‘EM;
THE MORE YOU GIVE THERE’S MORE OF ‘EM
SO STRETCH THOSE ARMS WITHOUT DELAY
AND GIVE SOMEONE A HUG TODAY!!

Anyone who knows me knows I love hugs. I think if we all hugged a little more then we all would be a little happier~
Memory is a way of holding on to the things you love, the things you are, and the things you never want to lose.
I received this quote in an email yesterday. I am making it the quote of the day. I find it so fitting to me. This quote represents all of us scrappers and well, me. I treasure my life. I treasure my family. When I get down I think about the memories that make me happy and let those events make me happy again. I think life is what we make it. The bad times make the good times -Good.
I think I will use this quote on a scrapbook page. Andie was a busy bee last night sorting out our computer/scrapbook room. I was excited he moved his section around and I really like the change. I am now able to get in to my section since the trailer storage stuff is back in the triler. Tonight I will work on cleaning the few things I need to and then I am free to scrap again!! So ready for some paper creating.:)
Bye for now~
My dad sent me this email today….I think this is one for everyone to think about:

Washington, DC Metro Station on a cold January morning in 2009. The man with a violin played six Bach pieces for about 45 minutes. During that time approx. 2 thousand people went through the station, most of them on their way to work. After 3 minutes a middle aged man noticed there was a musician playing. He slowed his pace and stopped for a few seconds and then hurried to meet his schedule.
4 minutes later:
the violinist received his first dollar: a woman threw the money in the hat and, without stopping, continued to walk.
6 minutes:
A young man leaned against the wall to listen to him, then looked at his watch and started to walk again.
10 minutes:
A 3-year old boy stopped but his mother tugged him along hurriedly. The kid stopped to look at the violinist again, but the mother pushed hard and the child continued to walk, turning his head all the time. This action was repeated by several other children. Every parent, without exception, forced their children to move on quickly.
45 minutes:
The musician played continuously. Only 6 people stopped and listened for a short while. About 20 gave money but continued to walk at their normal pace. The man collected a total of $32.
1 hour:
He finished playing and silence took over. No one noticed. No one applauded, nor was there any recognition.
No one knew this, but the violinist was Joshua Bell, one of the greatest musicians in the world. He played one of the most intricate pieces ever written, with a violin worth $3.5 million dollars. Two days before Joshua Bell sold out a theater in Boston where the seats averaged $100.
This is a true story. Joshua Bell playing incognito in the metro station was organized by the Washington Post as part of a social experiment about perception, taste and people’s priorities. The questions raised: in a common place environment at an inappropriate hour, do we perceive beauty? Do we stop to appreciate it? Do we recognize talent in an unexpected context?One possible conclusion reached from this experiment could be this: If we do not have a moment to stop and listen to one of the best musicians in the world, playing some of the finest music ever written, with one of the most beautiful instruments ever made…. How many other things are we missing?
