Cover Girl came out with more Last Blast mascara and I have heard great things about them. My personal favorite is the new Shadow Blast stick. I have my BFF lined up with the new Bronze fire. Just have to pick a color for me!! They are silky and smooth and easy to apply. This product is great for us non make up artists and creates a fabulous look! Today my son celebrated his ninth birthday. He took some family and friends out skating and ate lots of cake. He got some fun new toys and some cash for his Xbox fund. He has had a wonderful day:)

Today we gathered to say good-bye to a friend and co-worker, Laura. It was amazing turn out once again from our Overwaitea family. It is in these moments of sorrow that we remember just how special our family is. In our fellowship together we were reminded that no matter how short our journeys we must live them well.
Laura was a fun loving woman who lived her life just as she wanted to. She lived from her heart and loved from her soul. Many of us remember and will continue to remember the laughs shared with Laura and the found memories. We were blessed to have spent some of her life with her.
Most people go through life never experiencing something so precious as the love of a family. I am thankful for having such a wonderful home family and on top of that my OFG family. There is a unique and special store here in Chilliwack that bonds the people together and unites us forever. Together we laugh, we have cried and mourned, and together we can do anything. Our spirits make our work place special. I am thankful for this.
Today, I was reminded, of the blessings I have. The memories I have in my life and the moments that make it a life worth living.
I pray that Laura will rest with our Lord in the Kingdom. I pray that Laura’s life will be a testament to many that have grieved for her….to live life to the fullest and from the heart.

And in the end, it’s not the years in your life that count. It’s the life in your years.

This Spring Break was a very important one for one little girl. My Jessie who will be twelve this summer moved her bedroom downstairs to mark her venture into woman hood and celebrate a little privacy. She has her own bathroom downstairs and is very excited to have a TV and DVD player now in her room.
It wasn’t easy to accomplish this task of painting and cleaning when mom came down with a sinus infection and dad just wasn’t getting enough sleep after night shift. However, that little girl showed us just how grown up she is by being a super big help all week!
We still need to find the wall decor she wants and a few little touches to finish it but it is close enough and she is spending her first night down there tonight. (She has showered all week with the new shower head in her bathroom-LOL)

Love you peanut…just don’t forget we are still right upstairs!!

We decided to get some of the special woman in my moms life together for an evening out. Sue flew from the Island to be with us. Thanks for doing that Sue!!  We were all so happy to see you. It was a wonderful evening with many laughs and a nice little trip down memory lane…Valerie…Valeria….Valeraaaaaa…..:)
